Aosta Restaurant has two offerings. A refined Italian dining experience in the evening and a heartfelt “Nonna’s” style lunch service during the day. Located in Arrowtown, inspired by the shared heritage of Italy’s Aosta Valley and Central Otago, blending Northern Italian traditions, subtle French influences, and the finest local ingredients.
Aosta Restaurant is situated in the historic town of Arrowtown, a 20 minute drive from Queenstown.

Executive Chef Josh Phillips
Leading the kitchen at AOSTA, Executive Chef Josh Phillips was named Cuisine’s Rising Talent of 2025, with the restaurant earning Two Cuisine Hats, Regional Restaurant of the Year and a MICHELIN Bib Gourmand in 2026. Drawing on his UK and French training, Josh brings Franco-Italian flair, bold flavours and a strong commitment to exceptional New Zealand produce.
